hursxd hHABITAT FOR HUMANITY is having a fund raiser this FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK (March 7). There is a silent auction and they have posted a great sight where you can take a look ahead of time to give some thought to a possible bid. You can preview the items on: staugustine.com/artunderthestars
I donated the piece that is curently showing up on the second line, second one over. It is a woman with a boa over her shoulders and her arm is raised up as though shielding herself. Click on for a closer look.
Also, if you want to hear more about what is up with me, go to comments under Maylynda. That's my grandmother's name by the way.
Also "untitled" actully has a name for me. I call her "BORED BROWNIE". I haven't figured out yet how to get in and correct that. I have much to learn.
So sorry. I will use that wonderful preview link next time. Some of my errors are obvious. One is a real "oh brother" type. I misspelled (is that right?) my own grandmother's name. It is Maylyndy. Very unusual. My other grandmother's name was Mayomia, they were both definately "one of a kinds", just like their names. But two names beginning with MAY...and then ending up with those names...My great-grandparents must have been creative folks. My childhood was lavished on my in a small town in Kentucky. Would you have been able to guess?
